Contrary to popular belief, good socialization skills are not likely to develop by assembling large groups of age-related children together.

The home, as an environment of love, encouragement, and confidence, the ideal incubator for a strong self image.  The home also provides two other significant ingredients in the proper growth of social skills: adult modeling and interaction between a wide variety of ages.

Also, it should be noted that homeschoolers have plenty of traditional socialization opportunities through community, church, and homeschool group activities
